Q1. Please explain in more detail about Bosagora. What is the background of this project? and when was it established?

A1. BOSAGORA aims to establish a decentralized, censorship-resistant blockchain platform where Congress Members (part of the decision-making body) can decide on what projects to support through a democratic decision-making process. BOSAGORA pursues the goals of democracy, legitimacy, fairness, transparency, and efficiency.

First created in 2017 and hailed as the very first Korean ICO, the BOSAGORA project went through several changes and updates to its whitepaper in 2019 and here we are :)

Q2. What can we expect to see from Bosagora in the short-term (at some point in 2020) and 2021 and beyond (long-term goals)?

A2. We have only passed more than half of this year, and yet we have done so many things in a very short amount of time 1) rebranding, 2) community building, 3) white paper and homepage updates, 4) listing in major exchanges. The next for us is now 1) development and launching of Votera, democratice decision-making tool, expected towards Q4 of 2020, 2) launching of testnet and coinnet next year, 3) announcing of more partnerships, and 4) introducing our burn model. We would also like to hold a major meetup with all our supporters and communities worldwide in the later half of this year :)

Q3. If we look about crypto transaction trading then there is much security privacy issues also crypto has major reputational problem due to 80% scams . How do you deal with the such a problem??

A3. We try to deliver our progress, efforts, and results in a very transparent manner. Keeping all the nitty gritty details public as you can see in our Medium postings, monthly updates, development Sprint updates, and newsletters. Our project is tangible and you can see our developmet progress in Github also: https://github.com/bpfkorea. We most recently received full certification on security from Certik. Certik found BOSAGORA’s smart contracts to follow good practices. With the final update of source code and delivery of the audit report, Certik concluded that our contract is structurally sound and not vulnerable to any classically known anti-patterns or security issues.

Q4. I am a crypto investor and I only care about prospect of a crypto that I chose, tell me the reason why I should choose $BOA token over the existing one ? What is your token advantage that can convince me to change from my favorite token ?

A4. It’s all about what the cryptocurrency allows you to do. My question back to you would be what does BTC or ETH help you? Nothing much in real life and not many things may have changed by holding to those cryptocurrencies, even though I have full respect for both of them. BOA will be a symbol of change in creating a better world, funding great projects and ideas. It will also mean rewards for those who run the nodes and enter our ecosystem as validators.

Q5. Can you list some of Bosagora outstanding features for everyone here to know about? What are the products that Bosagora is focusing on developing?

A5. I know I am mentioning these two a lot, but they are worth mentioning. With the Congress Network, projects would need to achieve approval from the network members first before developers can start building. This also extends to the allocation of funding from the BOSAGORA’s Commons Budget. Proposals that garner approval from the Congress Network will be able to access funding that can benefit the entire ecosystem. Q6. What about long term design goals of #BOSAGORA?

A6. Our goal is to become a project enabler. We want to see our ecosystem be used to fund and support great ideas that deserve them. We want to open our network and make it decentralized for everyone with the ability to run the nodes to participate. We want to see BOA used for funding, making donations, supporting causes that relate to SDGs. All in all, we want to make a better world with our blockchain technology.

Q7. What are your plans to educate, raise awareness and adoption to the communities so that #BOSAGORA network can better understand its technology?

A7. We know that blockchain is still hard to understand and become accepted. But change is only a minute away and only a matter of time. We open, deliver, and update our community members on every development and marketing activities we do. We are running a lot of channels for that. We are lowering our eyes to the level that blockchain, BOSAGORA mainnet, and what we achieve to do is explainable in everyday terms. Please keep an eye on us :)

TECHNOLOGY

Q8. What are the benefits of using Stellar Consensus Protocol in BOSAGORA ecosystem?

A8. The Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP) provides a way to reach consensus without relying on a closed system to accurately record financial transactions. SCP has a set of provable safety properties that optimize for safety over liveness — in the event of partition or misbehaving nodes, it halts progress of the network until consensus can be reached. SCP simultaneously enjoys four key properties: decentralized control, low latency, flexible trust, and asymptotic security. (Reference: https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/concepts/scp.html) We will incorporate SCP but after moderating it.

Q9. What is Trust Contracts and What are the roles of Trust Contracts in the BOSAGORA ecosystem?

A9. When we started this project back in the 2017, we had this concept and the original whitepaper named“Trust Contracts” with something called OWL and TAL. The initial dev team tried to build on the “Ontology” of it and utilize to build the Trust. However, this is purely conceptual and quite difficult to achieve. This is usually researched in other industries, mostly in AI. Since continuing on to develop it is too difficult, we decided to pursue a more realistic goal, which is to develop WebAssembly. Lots of other projects are already researching on it and we think this will provide new possibilities and offer significant performance benefits. So, it’s just our own term for smart contract.

Q10. What is your goal in creating a full decentralized node POS system?Why is the development of this system important for your project?

A10. Creating mainnet from the scratch just means taking the road not taken. Some people may blame us that it is a waste of money and time, but that is how much value we put to building our own mainnet that allows all validators to be full nodes. Our network is open to everyone, decentralization that we value and pride ourselves in. We believe that the use of Commons Budget that are approved and decided by Congress Members will lead to a better world, a world that is much more democratic, fair, transparent, and rewarding :)

POLICY & BUSINESS

Q11. Marketing is a leading element for every project. So what is your strategy to attract customers and investors to BOSAGORA in the long term?

A11. We have already announced quite a few and significant partnerships with CoolBitX (Wallet), ARGOS (KYC), and CERTIK, which provided with security certification. We plan to announce and create use-cases for BOA, our token, as well as announce BOA burn model. More partnerships will be announced in Q3 and Q4 of this year. Through monthly newsletters shared via email, medium(https://medium.com/bosagora), and telegram(https://t.me/boa_announcement, https://t.me/bpf_eng), you will be able to stay up-to-date with our developments and partnerships.

Q12. After being listed on major exchanges like Bithumb and Bittrex, what would you like BASAGORA’s next achievement to be?

A12. Listing is not a goal, it is just a means to an end, which is to make BOA valuable and “used” meaning to develop use cases. Still not many projects have been able to produce “real use cases” of cryptocurrencies, and we want to achieve that goal.

BOA will be used for donations, run nodes, and used to make democratic decisions to allow and give funding to the most needed and great ideas.

Q13. BOA has been great, but as an investor, we’re always concerned about the loss of hackers. So BOA has any mode to help users like me more secure?

A13. The Congress Network, I have previously mentioned during the AMA in which validators may vote for funding as well as system proposals, provides safety to users’ privacy through AAID technology which is based on homomorphic encryption.

Q2. BOSAGORA의 2020년 단기 목표는 무엇입니까? 그리고 2021년과 그 이후의 장기 목표는 무엇입니까?
