Introducing Portal: Boson Protocol’s Metaverse commerce experience
Today we are pleased to announce that we are pioneering the world’s first virtual lifestyle and commerce playground which connects the metaverse with the universe.
This initial space, which we are calling Portal, exists in Decentraland, a decentralized 3D virtual reality platform where Boson Protocol made a record-breaking $704k virtual real estate purchase.
Portal, connected by Boson Protocol, will enable brands, artists and creators to sell to, or reward, individuals through in-game purchases of NFTs that are then redeemable for real-world products, services and experiences.

Whilst we at Boson continue to build this virtual space on our LAND in Decentraland, we are pleased to announce that you can now visit this project online.
We are now inviting brands and creators to express their interest in our Portal retail and event spaces, boutiques, arena and branded marketplace.
Portal will bring together forward-thinking designers and creators with innovative brands to create never-before-seen experiences. It is our ambition to forge Portal into an ever-evolving curation of exclusive content and events featuring the best that our community and partners have on offer.
We are designing Portal to be a virtual wonderland full of brand experiences and rewards that will unlock the purchase of unique physical items.
Here we are giving you a sneak peek into what this space will look like and how it will be used.
The layout dedicates areas for as many as three different tiers of brand retail space collated around a central events and gaming arena.
Are you a digital fashion brand? Imagine your collection on our events space catwalk.
Are you building a decentralized application? Our event space can hold your launch event.
Or, maybe you want to solve puzzles, play games and earn $BOSON along the way? Our gaming cube experience, with feature missions and exclusive rewards, will have you covered.
These combined are yet another example of how we, with Boson Protocol, are bringing people and brands together in a decentralized way.
