Following our exclusive pre launch view last week, we’re officially launching our latest partner space in Portal, connected by Boson Protocol with DRESSX.
The centerpiece of the new DRESSX space will be an initial offering of an exclusive, one-of-one dress and necklace, with a personalized fit for the buyer.
As Boson Protocol further cements itself as the decentralized network on which future commerce will run, we were delighted to work with DRESSX — the largest Web3 metafashion retailer. The space brings Bosonauts, Guardians, DRESSX NFT Holders and anyone else diving into the metaverse, another digital-to-physical NFT sale opportunity in Boson Portal in Decentraland.
Metaverse shopping is heading for mass adoption, and Boson is setting the standard. Watch this space for more Portal spaces and partnerships.
DRESSX, one of the first multi-brand retailers of digital fashion clothing whose ethos is steeped in sustainability and have been working with Boson Protocol, the decentralized commerce protocol that enables products, services, and experiences to be sold as NFTs in the metaverse to bring their very first digital to physical garments. The garments available were designed by Piero D’Angelo and will be custom made one-of-one pieces.
The Wabi Venus Dress
The Wabi Venus is a celebration of human resilience which has been heavily tested, especially over the last few years. The dress is a symbol of strength in rebirth like the goddess Venus emerging from the Mediterranean sea. The garment is inspired by embracing nature in its entirety and with an appreciation for its imperfect beauty.
The Wabi Venus dress is a bespoke piece that is made using a preserved species of 100% natural lichens. This piece can be worn both digitally and for real. The digital item will be supplied directly by DressX after completing the purchase of the physical product.
The Wabi Venus Necklace
The Wabi Venus necklace will also be made-to-measure using a preserved species of lichens. They are 100% natural materials. Although these lichens won’t grow on your garment. This is a bespoke piece that can be worn both digitally and for real and, as with the Wabi Venus Necklace, the digital item will be supplied directly by DressX after completing the purchase of the physical product.
Sizing Information
Each garment (the necklace and the dress) is made to measure.
Shipping Information
After Claiming the item DRESSX will contact you. The item will be shipped 4–6 weeks later to allow a bespoke production.
About the designer
Piero D’Angelo is a Fashion Designer exploring how biotechnology can influence fashion. His work is a new definition of Couture, where users can grow their own outfit, an innovative perspective on design combining science, technology and biodesign.
