Antônio Carlos Jobim, also known as Tom Jobim was born on January 25, 1927, in the Federal District - Brazil. Tom Jobim was the son of Brazilian diplomat Jorge de Oliveira Jobim with housewife Nilza Brasileiro de Almeida, Tom said in interviews that he was very fond of nature and animals, and that he was very concerned with the situation of the Amazon and the indigenous people, something that he was debated with the breadth of today, he was a conductor, arranger and singer, he played the piano and violin, he won many awards, but the main ones were the Grammy for the disc "Antônio Brasileiro", Grand Award International Film & TV Festival of New York, and the Merit Award granted by the President of the Regional Council of the State of Rio de Janeiro, of the order of musicians in Brazil, for the relevant services rendered to the musical class in the state.
