Report: Boston 3 Alfreton 1

Boston claimed their first points of the season in a 3–1 home win against Alfreton Town- who still haven’t ever won at York Street.
Mason Warren scored the Pilgrims’ first goal of the game- and the season- after 16 minutes, reacting quickest to slot home after visiting keeper Elliot palmed away Tyrell Waite’s effort.
But the lead only lasted 5 minutes as Craig Westcarr took advantage of a loose ball in the United penalty area to beat Willis with a prodded finish.
Boston regained the lead 5 minutes before the break with another rebound effort as Jordan Keane passed into the empty net left unguarded after Elliot had saved Waite's shot.
Gregg Smith capped his first start of he season with an impressive diving header from Clifton’s corner to complete the Boston win.
