Y0u might have seen this epic conversation between these two Google Home devices and been inspired to make your own Google Home Skill . If so, good news!

With a couple of lines of code you can access all the benefits of Botmetrics including custom metrics, path analysis and if your Google Skill authenticates the user you can even use notifications to re-engage users.

Another key feature we’re excited to launch is Intent Tracking. Intent Tracking automatically imports all intents identified using API.AI into Botmetrics so that you can see which intents are delighting your users and which ones are not.

Intent Tracking With Google Home and API.AI on Botmetrics

Here is how you get started:

  1. Get your API Key and Bot ID and set the environment variables BOTMETRICS_API_KEY and BOTMETRICS_BOT_ID
  2. Install the Botmetrics SDK and import it via var Botmetrics = require('botmetrics');
  3. Add a Botmetrics.track() to each incoming request

Check out a more detailed example google action (with source code). For API.AI, check out this repo.
