Engage Your Kik Users with Local Time Notifications for Kik Messenger

Today we’re please to announce support for adding Timezone information for Kik Users.

Kik Messenger does not populate timezone information for users. However, According to Google research “69% of online consumers agree that timing (and) relevance of a company’s message influences their perception of a brand.”

Brands and chatbot makers should consider how the user’s attention varies over the course of the day and tune their chat notification delivery to maximize engagement. For example it’s very easy to understand that a funny joke at 3pm might be a welcome distraction but the same joke at 3am would lead to the bot being banned.
