I’ve been in the marketing space for 9 years, and during that time, I feel like I’ve only ever had one “competitor”.

Not because there’s only one other marketer out there, think there’s roughly 1.72 trillion of them, but because he’s the only other person who specializes in the same “sub-set” as me.

Kind of a hard setup to fully explain, even though I’ll be getting into more detail later on, but even with all that said — it’s still hard to call him a “competitor” for the most part.

Certainly not because of skill or anything like that, but because he’s been smart enough to take a “slightly” different approach.

With his line of work, he goes after industry whales, those that have 6 (if not 7) figures in their checking account.

Makes it a lot easier to operate this way, and for me personally, I’ve always taken the exact opposite approach.

Why I did this, I’m not sure, but a lot of my work has revolved around “smaller” businesses.

Think I just like working with them as they need a foundation built, including:

  • Positioning
  • Offer Creation
