Legazpi City, Albay (August 12, 2022) — Bounce Back PH, a local brand that combines motivational stories with streetwear fashion and art, held its third-anniversary celebration last August 5–7 through its partnership with RKG productions and Ayala Malls Legazpi.

According to Karl Vasquez, CEO and Founder of Bounce Back PH, the three-day event celebrates the 3rd year of Bounce Back PH as a local clothing line upholding its advocacy and virtues.

“Gathering local artists, merchants, and athletes, the event commenced for three (3) days, with the first-day highlighting local artists & businesses. Then it was followed by a night of performances on day-2 from local acts and the guest celebrity performer for the event, a singer-songwriter, and rapper, “Kiyo”.

We also aim to highlight our advocacy for Mental Health Awareness — getting back up from any adversities in life, and the importance of the local arts and talents scene in Albay. The 3rd day of the event, we held a Skate & BMX competition, featuring the local skaters and riders in a different part of Bicol to be followed by the closing ceremony of the Festival,” Vasquez said.

Vasquez founded Bounce Back PH in 2019. He turned the phrase “bounce back” which used to be a mere mantra for him into a brand reminding others of its core message. Through Bounce Back PH, Vasquez, together with his small team, produced merch that he designed to reflect optimism, determination, and resilience. Additionally, he started the BounceBackStories series which became a platform for people from all walks of life to share their stories of hope and resilience after experiencing life’s struggles.

“Every item we create and sell is a wearable story and emblem of hope and strength. Bounce Back is not just a t-shirt. These are stories of getting back up from tough life experiences,” Vasquez added.

Many local businesses showed support during Bounce Back Fest. Among the major contributors are The Pepperland Hotel Legazpi, Ownly, and Pima Guitars. Other sponsors include The Apple Peach House, Uptown Innovative Prints, Jun Go Technological Institute, 528 Ilawod Cafe, Tikyo’s Bar & Lounge, Eat n’ Run, Pod1um Restobar, Darkroom Printlab, District 2, Crown Crafts, Conceptz, Print Project, Eastside Clothing Brand, Syndicate Supply Co., Molly, 4710, Gear Up, Pocket Snacks, Madafakas Company, Scrapbikes, Noga Noga Upholstery, B11 Rebuild & Repair.
