In honor of Scorpio Season, and Halloween, we’ve compiled a list of Scorpios that embody all things Scorpio.

The first Scorpio to make the list is the one, the only, Charles Manson, the epitome of Scorpio’s dark magnetism. Scorpions have the most intense stares of the zodiac. Their creativity and intellect is often misunderstood by all but those closest to them. And if you’ve ever rejected a Scorpio, then you know that their desire for vengeance is legendary. Plus, who else but a Scorpio would have a small but loyal legion of devotees willing to go to horrific lengths to prove their loyalty?

Next Scorpio up is Christopher Columbus. The Scorpion’s ego is quietly larger than life and when they think they’re right, only experience can prove them wrong. Old Chris stubbornly persisted on his nautical mission in true Scorpio fashion. Undeterred by challenges like sailing in the opposite direction, Christopher landed in the Americas and sparked a campaign of terror for Indigenous peoples for centuries to come. Scorpio’s inability to change course is notorious and their bravery is sometimes a masquerade for narcissism. When Scorpios aren’t careful wielding their power, their actions can wreak havoc in the lives of others. A Scorpion’s sting changes you forever.

№3 is King Charles III. Mystery. Intrigue. Sexual appetites. Death. These are Scorpio’s calling cards. The drama and scandal the world saw in the fallout after the death of Princess Diana still rings bells in people’s ears more than two decades later. How long had Charles and Camille been having an affair? Did Charles have something to do with Diana’s death? Did he just get her out of the way so that he could be with Camille publicly? This English Tea was piping hot and still gets tongues wagging. Scorpios love drama and while they hate to be exposed, they know that all things done in the dark eventually come to light. Despite doubts about the timing, Charles came clean about the affair and married Camille, making her the current Queen of England.

Fourth on the list is Marie Antoinette. A young Marie was not the best student academically. She excelled more at singing, dancing and other arts. Scorpios are extremely sensitive and creative. They also struggle with being misunderstood and feeling apart from those around them. Marie dealt with a kind of rejection all of her life. She had a strained relationship with her mother. Her husband, King Louis XV, cheated on her. She was judged by the church and country for her lack of sexual prowess and then for her supposed infidelity. Even her birthday could not truly be celebrated. Marie was born on All Souls Day, a Catholic day of mourning. Scorpio is ruled by Pluto and symbolizes death, rebirth and transformation. These concepts can dominate the lives of people born under the Scorpio sun. For Marie Antoinette, her reign as Queen of France sparked a fashion and financial revolution. Scorpios be scorpioin’.

Hedy Lamarr was an actress during the Golden Age of Hollywood and also an inventor during WWII. Born on November 9, she was the literal definition of beauty and brains. Her dark haired full lipped brand of mysterious beauty came to be hailed in American films and is arguably the blueprint for the Angelina Jolie’s, Megan Fox’s and Kim Kardashian’s who proliferate our modern screens. Hedy Lamarr’s most famous role was that of Delilah, in Samson and Delilah. She defined the look of femme fatales for generations to come.

Scorpio number 6 is Georgia O’Keefe, our favorite painter of the pynk. Scorpio rules the genitals so it is perfectly apropos that Ms. O’Keefe almost painted them exclusively. She is the quintessential combination of Scorpio’s lovingly obsessive nature and Scorpio’s eye on sexuality. She saw the female genitalia in every image, a metaphor for all being and creation. O’Keefe was able to bring the ancient and the esoteric into the artistic realm. Her Scorpionic intuition was attuned to frequency of femininity. Her art expressed The Divine Mother in all of us. Georgia O’Keefe was giving very much high level Scorpio energy.

Our 7th and final Scorpio on the list is Tonya Harding. Scorpio is known for extreme bouts of jealousy. Tonya Harding makes the list for her involvement in one of the most heinous crimes in Olympic Ice skating history. Nancy Kerrigan was America’s Skating Sweetheart and Tonya, an equally amazing skater, would have no parts of it. She wanted to be #1 and would not allow any person to stand in her way. The Nancy Kerrigan attack was quick, vicious and cruel. The fact that it was executed by Tonya’s significant other is an expert Scorpio manipulation tactic. Scorpio remains undefeated.
