I was born in the late 50s, and I’ll soon be 70. When I look back over these past seven decades, I first thought to write about the things I missed. Over several months, the scope of my interest and research widened considerably. Rather than classify my points by decade, it made more sense to outline the article series in a very different and more personal way…

I wrote these over the autumn months of 2023 and self-published them in the first week of 2024. I decided to revive them for 2025 in this story.
