Trump Uses a Nazi Propaganda Technique to Mislead Voters

If you tell a lie long enough and loud enough, it becomes the truth

This is the essence of the quote attributed to Joseph Goebbels, the minister of propaganda for the Nazis. It’s a tool that proves useful for an endless succession of dictators and those who would be.

Trump was told by his advisors that he had lost the election, and that was confirmed by a series of court cases that failed to find any significant evidence of cheating or manipulation that would have changed the results.

That hasn’t stopped Trump from insisting the election was stolen and using that lie to solidify his base that believes everything he says.

He knows he doesn’t need any proof, just endless repetition.

The same for almost any false claims that serve as distractions that take the place of serious issues that need to be resolved.

The latest is that illegal immigrants (they are not) from Haiti who live in Springfield, Ohio, have been grabbing neighborhood dogs and cats and eating them. Local officials have denied this, but bomb threats have been made that these days are all too likely to happen.

Surely, Trump realizes this has gone too far and will discourage any further promotion of this dangerous lie. He has more important items on his agenda when he knows he is sure to win the upcoming election.

Retribution against those who have opposed him, pardoning the capitol rioters, and canceling the constitution for starters.

But if he loses, sanity will prevail, and normalcy will return, and he will no longer be a threat.

When he said there would be a bloodbath if he were to lose, he didn’t really mean it. Did he?
