We Should Deny Chomsky’s Death Like He Denied Genocides
Calling Noam Chomsky “dead” or “human” cheapens these words.
Yesterday, the media jumped on the bandwagon of declaring the death of the famous genocide denier Noam Chomsky. However, to call his mere existence “life” would be a disservice to living creatures. It amazes me that intelligent people cannot see that.
For starters, referring to Chomsky as a human being would be vulgarizing the term.
Was Noam Chomsky a human?
Humanity is not defined by biological characteristics alone. To be considered a “human,” a being must encompass humane traits. Those must include compassion for others’ well-being, empathy for others’ feelings, responsibility for one’s actions and statements, intellectual honesty, and, most importantly, integrity. Integrity in the form of following your own moral guidelines consistently.
Does Chosmky possess all these characteristics? Of course, he doesn’t. Whether he would express compassion or support for other people depends on this key factor: it should be against the interests of the US or NATO. If a group of people or an entire nation suffers at the hands of the enemies of the West— Chomsky would jump in to whitewash or downplay war crimes. This means he lacks integrity, honesty, and responsibility.
He does exhibit a semblance of sentience, that much is true. But, most pet dogs have more humane traits than the famous graphomania professor.
Was Chomsky ever alive?
Can we truly say that he was “living” during his period of active genocide denial? I don’t believe so.
By saying that Noam Chomsky died, the media suggest that he lived before that. It’s evident that the leftists want to substitute concepts to manufacture consent among the populace. The dominant mass media are profit-based organizations, after all, and they have a financial incentive to produce propaganda that will drive more people to buy flowers for his grave.
Instead of saying that he was “alive,” the correct term would be that he was animated — capable of movement and even complex life processes, like war crime or imperialism denial. This makes him incapable of “dying” but simply going past his expiration date.
Chomsky’s wife's denial of his death should fuel more doubt. Valeria Wasserman Chomsky is clearly a biased party. By telling the word that her husband has not died, she preloads the assumption that he, in fact, was a living humane person. We should treat it as a disingenuous attempt to whitewash Chomsky’s legacy.
And what a legacy it is! The man literally has sections dedicated to him in several Wikipedia articles on genocide denial.
Chomsky’s many genocide and war crime denials
Let’s recap the highlights of the career of this intellectual and moral giant, the Goliath of “the US is bad, and therefore its enemies are good,” and Kissinger’s evil brother.
- Noam Chomsky has denied the Cambodian genocide by the Khmer Rouge, calling it “atrocity propaganda.” Chomsky argued that “conservatives” used reports of abuses (falsified, of course) in Cambodia to vindicate their stance on the Vietnam War.
- He denied the Bosnian genocide by the Serbs, saying the crimes were overstated, a retaliation against the Muslim crimes, and, not that much of a deal in comparison with other documented genocides. Basically, he followed the tankie formula: “It didn’t happen; but if it did, they deserved it, and they should’ve killed more.” The reason for his stance is simple — because, otherwise, NATO would’ve attacked Serbia to prevent genocide justifiably.
- He denied Assad's chemical weapons attacks in Syria. The logic here is that the US was involved in “imperialism” in Syria, of course, while ignoring the Syrian government and the russian military carpet bombing of cities.
- He endorsed a tract by a denier of the genocide of Tutsis in Rwanda. The book that explicitly rejects the documented facts of the genocide contains a foreword by Chomsky.
Noah was very vocal about russia’s imperialistic war in Ukraine, too. He didn’t get to deny any well-documented war crimes or the Hague court arrest warrant for putin for mass stealing Ukrainian children — a crime that constitutes genocide according to the official definition of the term.
However, Chomsky did manage to deny Ukraine’s agency and sovereignty! On numerous occasions, Noam suggested that Ukraine is not “a free actor” and that it’s fully dependent on the US. Of course, he never once considered the will of the Ukrainian people. But he almost demanded that Ukraine should surrender to the occupation on russia’s terms. In other words, he was doing the exact opposite of what he had done during the Vietnam War.
Chomsky also said that “russia was fighting more humanely” than the “US did in Iraq”. His anal-ISIS excluded the mass terror acts in Bucha or Izyum, mass looting, systematic torture and rape, the nature of russia’s imperial land grabs, or the genocidal rhetoric of the russian state and propaganda machine. He did not explain what Ukraine has to do with the wars started by the USA.
An Eipstein connection
Almost forgot! It is very likely that Chomsky was a pedophile. You see, Chomsky was friends with Jeffrey Epstein long after the latter was convicted of soliciting prostitution from a minor. Despite that, Epstein moved large sums of money for what Noam described as “technical matters.”
According to Chomsky, “Epstein… had served his sentence. According to US laws and norms, that yields a clean slate.” The genocide denier ignored the fact that the pedophiles are monitored and included in the National Sex Offender Registry. That’s not really “clean”.
And why would you have any meetings with a convicted pedophile if you’re not a pedophile yourself? To that, Noam can only say, “None of your business.”
What a legacy… What an “existence” indeed.
Those who believe that Chomsky will be remembered for his outdated linguistics theories or his opposition to the Vietnam War have ignored the famous proverb about building bridges:
“You can spend your entire life building bridges. But, if you suck one c*ck, everyone will remember you as a c*cksucker, not as a bridge builder.”
Chomsky certainly didn’t f*llate just one dictatorial war criminal — it was a rather long line. So, let’s remember him as that — a fluffer for genocides and convicted pedophiles. And let’s not fall for media propaganda that will say that he died. He just expired.
