The Windows 11 upgrade has many valuable features that you can customize according to your needs. However, if you’re not a very techy person you’d probably want to stick to the convenient side, that is where these Windows 11 apps come in handy.

There are so many apps for all your needs on the Microsoft Store. Whether you’re a productivity geek or a regular user who just wants to get things done swiftly and seamlessly on Windows 11, these apps are absolutely for you. Here is a comprehensive list of 5 super useful Windows 11 apps in 2022:

1. Notepads

Notepads UI (Screen Snip)

Notepads is a free open-source application. It is basically Notepad but on steroids. In other words, It’s a smart Notepad.

Now, there are a bunch of useful features in this app. Firstly, It has multiple tabs support, so you can work on multiple documents simultaneously and you can switch between them quickly. Then it has the Smart Copy option which when enabled, will trim additional spaces, tabs, and empty lines automatically for you.

To enable the Smart Copy feature in Notepads open the App by double clicking on it.

Next, click on the hamburger icon on the top left of the window and select the settings option from the menu. You can simply press f1 which will open another pane toward the right side. Click on the Advanced option from the menu and press the toggle button for “Enable smart Copy”.

The Notepads app also has another amazing feature called Session Snapshot. The toggle button for which is right below that of the Smart Copy option. The session snapshot keeps a record of your current session and could be a lifesaver in case of a sudden crash or if you close the app without saving your work.

2. SnipDo

SnipDo (Screen Snip)

Previously known as PantherBar, SnipDo is a productivity application that makes it simpler and quicker to do your daily tasks. SnipDo appears to assist you as soon as you select a text in any application.

The extension store within the app has a myriad of options for you to choose from. You can translate any selected text in one click, you can search for it on Amazon and you can search it on any other search engine on the go.

3. Winaero Tweaker

Winaero Tweaker is a free tool available for all versions of Windows that enables you to change (or tweak) settings that Microsoft does not permit you to change through the UI. With extensive context menus, options, and short commands, it also enables you to exploit the full potential of already-existing Windows tools and apps.

It is a robust application with hundreds of options that works with Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Windows 11. It technically tweaks all the Windows 11 shortcomings.

Windows 11 Drag & Drop to the Taskbar (Fix) is an open-source tool that restores Windows 11’s previously absent drag-and-drop capabilities for the Taskbar.
