5 Weird Things I Do That Nobody Else (Probably) Does

Unless you’re all just as weird as I am

My first realization of “the collective weirdness” phenomenon was when I was a kid.

I promise I never did this, but I realized that most kids (everyone but me, of course) would never throw their chewed-up gum in the bin.

They’d instead just stick it under their classroom desk.

Some of the worse ones would even leave one on someone else’s seat so that they had to go through the horrors.

As my sister, with her very long hair, would remind me — the worst ones still chose others’ hair to stick theirs.

Devils.

Thanks to Instagram, FaceBook shorts, and other short-form social media, I am starting to feel that we’re all united by our most weird habits.

The most viral videos or content is about the most nuanced things which would seem very specific to one person, but turn out to be a common thread among us all.

So, I am putting all my weird habits out there to see if I am truly unique in my weirdness — or do I have my own tribe?
