A Letter to Erin Hawley

And that guy she married, Josh, is it?

Yo, Erin.

That’s the appropriate salutation for someone of your character.

I’m guessing it’s been a tough week for you, coming off your carefully crafted arguments to the Supreme Court representing those doctors professing to be ‘injured’ by nationwide access to mifepristone when in fact, all they had to do was raise a conscientious objection.

Who woulda known?

Actually you, as you are fully aware this has no standing before the court. Must have been a little embarrassing.

You have shown such tenacity through your days at Yale Law School, your days clerking for Justice John Roberts, your utter devotion to the conservative group, Alliance Defending Freedom.

Talk about a misnomer!

You really must need a vacation after your ‘victories’ helping with the Dobbs decision and the ridiculous Colorado wedding web designer who actually had no gay clients. But why wait for real clients when you can fabricate them?

I hear you have a book on a Christian guide to parenting where you describe yourself as a “wife, mom … and some-time lawyer” and you tell other wives and mothers to “make sure you focus on your husband.”
