Since I posted my very first article on Medium, I haven’t shared much about myself or my life. However, after seeing that many writers have an “About Me” article pinned at the top of their home pages, I realized that it might be a good idea to share more about myself.

I want Medium users to know that I am a real person, not just a faceless writer behind a screen.
