Alex Jones Will Not Pay For His Dangerous Lies

This is not the justice you were looking for

Alex Jones needs to find 965 Million to pay several Sandy Hook families, losing his second defamation suit, bringing his total to over 1 Billion dollars.

On Infowars, Alex said, “This must be what Hell’s like, they just read out the damages even though you don’t got the money,”

Hard to feel sorry for him, considering the trauma the families suffered due to a decade of his lies.

He convinced his followers that Sandy Hook was a false flag event staged by the government, accusing the families of being crisis actors. Dealing with the loss of your children is hard enough. Imagine having to deal with harassment, death threats, and emotional torture from an angry mob as well.

That is what hell is like, Alex.

Two juries have found him guilty, with the last ruling appearing to be a warning shot to all conspiracy theory machines that look to profit off of misinformation. A third trial is set, which he will also lose.

Many have celebrated this outcome, for obvious reasons, but they may have popped the champagne bottle too soon.

The real question is, will Alex pay up?

He claims he only has two million left to his name, despite having a possible net worth of 270 million. Free Speech Systems, the parent company of Infowars, filed for bankruptcy in July, but there is speculation that he has already siphoned off millions.

As expected, his legal team will appeal the verdict. Either way, Alex appears to have no intention of paying.

“Do these people think they’re actually getting any money? Literally, for hundreds of thousands of dollars, I can keep them in court for years.”

These people? Do you mean the broken families that suffered the abuse of your brainwashed fans? The families that violently lost their children at the end of a madman’s gun? Those people?

Alex remains unrepentant.

I’ve already said ‘I’m sorry’ hundreds of times and I’m done saying I’m sorry,

He argues that he never released the names of the families, thus absolving himself of any wrongdoing.

He has obviously hidden his fortune and will protect it like a dragon in his cave. He will drag this out in court until he gets a favorable solution, which will most likely be a payment plan.

Alex will claim that he is broke, so the only way the Sandy Hook families will receive compensation is for Alex to spread lies and sell products to his enthralled followers.

This is twilight zone justice.

For the families to win, Alex Jones must continue doing the very thing that landed him in court in the first place.

This is what he is banking on. He may have to sell some assets, but his team will most likely push to only pay with future earnings. Once they can get the number reduced to something less eye-watering than 1 billion dollars, that is.

The families will have to agree, not wanting this to consume their lives, desperate to cause him and his pocket some pain. Unfortunately, this was their only option.

In the end, Alex will win. They will not impoverish him and he will continue spouting whatever nonsense he likes.

Alex Jones remains undamaged but just as unhinged. It’s business as usual. He has already asked for donations to help with his appeal. He will spin this into a crusade and more gullible people will reach into their wallets to help him stay rich.

A penalty of 965 million will definitely make people like Alex Jones think twice about their claims, but it won’t stop them. They will just work with their legal team to figure out the best way to reduce damage.

Distrust of mainstream news sources also fuels the taste among many conservatives for theories that fit their world view.

“I don’t think there’s any incentive to move toward well-grounded reporting or to move in the direction of news and information instead of commenting,” Hemmer said. “That’s what they want. They want the wild conspiracy theories.”

Alex will continue to profit off of fear and lies, selling survival gear and vitamins, complaining about how “they” are trying to silence him, the lone crusader — the voice of the oppressed, the revealer of truths.

Alex Jones may have once had a mission to expose tyranny, but he got deeply lost in his own imagination. His fevered ego, alcoholism, and unrelenting lust for money and fame pushed him over a dark edge.

He became the very thing he was fighting against.

His lack of remorse shows us what he truly is: a greedy, careless villain. An arrogant con man who manipulates people with fear and half-truths so he can profit off of their paranoia.

“I will never give up, I will never sell out”

Alex Jones sold his soul long ago. He might as well put on a black robe and join the ceremony at Bohemian Grove.

We live in strange times.

Anyone can say what they want and get away with it if they have enough power and money. Be it lies about election fraud or school shootings, it doesn't seem to matter who you hurt or how dangerous your words are.

If you talk loud enough, you will find a following and they will happily finance your unproven claims, feeling like warriors of justice with every donation.

As long as there is an audience for his brand of “truth”, Alex will continue to exist, and the Sandy Hook families will continue to suffer.

The best we can hope is that he will run out of steam and retire. Doubtful. There’s still plenty of money to be made. Paying off the Sandy Hook families may simply be the cost of doing business for Alex and his Free Speech Systems.

Put the cork back in the bottle. Nothing has changed. Greed has won. Disinformation has not been silenced and Alex Jones has learned nothing. He is too busy selling supplements.

Conspiracy misinformation is here to stay, and the King still sits on his throne.
