Biblical Contradictions

Errors in the holy book

Christians will often tell you that the word of the Lord is perfect, even claiming this about their beloved KJV which isn’t near to being the most accurate English translation. They repeat this over and over even if it’s inherently false.

To prove this point let’s dive in, and to start us off we’ll be going back to the very very beginning of the book, the first chapter of Genesis.

20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.-Genesis 1:20 KJV

Pretty clear here that all life sprung forth from the waters, every moving creature…which in theory would be man as well, but let’s just interpret it as meaning animals.

19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.-Genesis 2:19 KJV

Then here in Genesis 2 it tells us that God made the animals from the dirt, rather than the water, hmm…how is this not a contradiction?

Next, we have the creation of man, still in Genesis 1…we didn’t need to go too far for another contradiction to…
