I Hate A Lot of Things.

I’m sure you do to, no shame in it. As long as it doesn’t hurt no one, of course. For example, I hate long lines and when my hot coffee gets cold. (Keeping it light.)

I’m sure your character you’re currently writing or thinking about writing hates something. Whether it’s just a quirk or an active drive that motivates your character, you’re going to want to know how to write and translate it well.

What is Hatred?

Hatred: To loathe or detest; to feel animosity toward.

What Are Some Obvious Physical Signs that Could Be Perceived as Hatred?

  • Intense/narrow eyes.
  • Bearing teeth.

  • Flaring nostrils.
  • Angry tears.
  • Lips pressed together firmly.
  • Furrowed brows.
  • Sweating.
  • Visible vein throb.
