I keep watching political leaders from our party get up before a mic and sound like they just stepped out of the 1980s, when Big Hair Bands were still the rage on the radio.

They seem earnest enough. They appear worried and want to allay our fears. But they speak in broad general terms, like — We can’t allow the GOP to terrorize Americans on the street. We can’t let the current administration dismantle Medicare and Education. We must stand up and fight Trump and authoritarianism.

But I get the impression that they’re listing out these problems in the hopes that someone “out there” will understand what to do next, because they really don’t know.

So, they keep repeating what the problem is, but what about the solutions?

Where are the solutions?
