Life is full of ups and downs for all of us.
This isn’t a fairy tale we’re walking through. There will be no singing mice or chorus lines filled with people cheering us on in obvious displays of glorious adoration.
Love isn’t always perfect, and sometimes the people who mean the most to us hurt us the worst.
And some of us, on top of that, have to fight a constant battle that rages inside of us. Hidden away, where no one can see how hard the fight is. A fight that is almost impossible for people who aren’t inside of it to see, even if they desperately want to understand.

Depression, anxiety, OCD, and other mental health-related issues are nothing new. They’ve been around for years.
But the silver lining is that we’re living in a time when a real effort is being made to lift the stigma that has always surrounded such things.
We are living in a time when more and more of us aren’t afraid to stand up and speak out, and the more of us who are willing to do that, the less lonely and isolating it feels to be one…
