Donald Trump Says You’ll Never Have To Vote Again

Convicted felon Donald Trump is a loser, and that’s all he’ll ever be

When Donald Trump started talking to a room full of Christian Nationalists and Conservative fanatics, my morbid curiosity was piqued.

I saw people discussing the latest Trump gaffe, his statement that the Christians in the room would ‘never have to vote again,’ if he should be re-elected. I watched the clip of his speech to see if he actually said those words, and it turns out that he did.

Now, I wasn’t satisfied with the short clip that I saw and the fact that the news was focusing solely on that one statement out of an entire speech.

See, I despise the man and his policies, his overt racism, misogyny and fascistic rhetoric.

And in despising him so much, I was very sure that this was not the only part of the speech that would showcase the dangers of four more years of Trump.

Focusing on this one statement allows his supporters to pull the usual excuses out of thin air. They say he’s just joking, or it was taken out of context, or he ‘doesn’t mean it that way.

For all the praise they give him for ‘saying it like it is,’ Trump’s followers sure do spend a lot of time saying he doesn’t mean what he’s saying.

So, I figured I’d do the charitable thing and suspend judgement until I’d heard the full speech. Thankfully, Turning Point USA — the organization he was speaking to — allowed the speech to be publicly broadcast.

So, here’s my take. My full, in-context take of Trump’s speech at The Believers Summit hosted by Turning Point USA.

Before I get into the meat of what he said, let me give you a quick rundown of what Turning Point USA is.

TPUSA is an American Conservatice nonprofit, and it was founded back in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and the late Bill Montgomery. It exists to have an overtly right-wing presence on college campuses in order…
