Donald Trump Will Save Our Country
A look inside the misguided ethos of Trump supporters
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the election to be over. No matter how much Kamala Harris explains her policy positions or how outrageous Donald Trump becomes, nothing much seems to change according to the polls. Still, the chatter persists as though one of the candidates might say or do something that will change the current electoral landscape.
I want to know what that is.
Donald Trump never seems to run out of outrageous things to say or do. A few days ago he participated in a highly choreographed shift at a closed McDonald’s. Did anyone really believe he was actually working at a real McDonalds’ and waiting on real customers?
For those who still think it might have been real, there are some questions worth pondering. For instance, if these were real customers, why did none of them pay for their food? Was Trump planning to have Mexico pay for this too? In each instance, Trump simply handed them a bag with God-knows-what inside, and they gushed over being in his divine presence.
Secondly, if this was a real open McDonald's, does anyone think the Secret Service would allow random customers to get this close to a presidential candidate, particularly one who has two alleged…
