Ending Birthright Citizenship is a Gift to Child Sex Traffickers
If you think babies don’t deserve to be abused, then you need to oppose the actions of our current administration
The new presidential administration is attempting to erase the Constitution with a flurry of absurd, ill-conceived, and potentially illegal executive orders. Among these is the repeal of birthright citizenship for some of the children born within US borders.
All I can assume is that the new administration hates children and wants to punish them. There’s no consequence to this order other than cruelty.
Those of you saying, “Well… not all children,” need to take a hard look in the mirror.
Appallingly, there are people defending and even cheering for the repeal of birthright citizenship. However, it’s irresponsible to toss a legal precedent that’s been the law of the land for 150 years into the trash without at least considering that it might have drastic and cruel consequences.
What do you think is going to happen if you strip innocent, vulnerable children of the protections of a nation? What if you deprive them of any right to advocacy? Do you think that’s going to be a good thing?
