Even Trump’s Civil Fraud Bond is a Scam

When an Ex-President can’t even place a bond without scamming, you know he should remain an ex-president

To avoid paying a massive fine after being found guilty of civil fraud against the people of New York State on an epic scale, Trump has found a new scam: the bond posted on the civil fraud penalty.

Here’s what’s happening, I think (keeping track of all his legal affairs is a cottage industry).

Trump, who is facing a series of criminal and civil cases resulting from a pile of excremental behavior, has already lost two civil cases. One of these is a rape and defamation case, for which he owes about $80 million to E. Jean Carroll, who, a New York civil court jury found, Trump sexually assaulted in a department store and defamed when she tried to defend herself.

This legal kick in the orange pants was a self-inflicted wound. He had previously lost a case of rape and defamation against Ms. Carroll, but he couldn’t help himself and attacked her on social media after a much milder fine had been imposed.

So she took him back to court for another round. The intent of the second round was to essentially say, “Stop attacking me in public, you petulant child.”
