Everybody Wants to Rule The World
But who’s going to pay for it?
The votes are still being counted, but we already know the answer
November 10th. AP declared the final Electoral and popular vote numbers in the presidential election. President Trump collected 312 Electoral College votes, well beyond the 270 needed to secure his win. On top of that, he garnered 50.5% of the popular vote. The final numbers have yet to be official, but with those sorts of results called, the outcome will remain the same, plus or minus.
Now everyone is asking, “So, what’s going to happen?” This candidate is an iconoclast, so how will life in the United States of America change under his administration?
According to his official website, President Trump has “BIG IDEAS, BOLD AMBITIONS AND DARING DREAMS FOR AMERICA’S FUTURE” (but, obviously, using the Oxford comma is not one of them). With the Republican party gaining the majority of the Senate and, most likely, still holding the majority of the House of Representatives, it looks like President Trump will have carte blanche to enact those big ideas.
