Help Me, I’ve Lost My Political Humor Ability at the Worst Possible Time

And Holy Universe do we need a laugh right now

Here’s the deal. The clowns who will soon be appointed to some of the highest offices in the U.S. are deep fodder — or is that deep compost — for humor. Their nuttiness is ripe for laughing at. We can just reach up and pluck the low-hanging fruit without a ladder or even stretching very high.

Problem is, the inmates will be running the asylum

And it won’t end as well as the movie King of Hearts, where the inmates save the people.

We do have one thing in common with the movie, where the nazis have boobytrapped the town to blow up in King of Hearts, and nobody but the insane asylum inmates see the danger.

In the movie, though, the threat is from outside. Here and now, the threat is from inside.
