And why am I indoors just about 24/7? It started back around 2010 when I experienced a hellish second Saturn return. But that’s a story that I may or may not write about because, almost 14 years later (another Saturn cycle, sheesh!), I’m still going through some aftershocks.

Events (i.e. an eviction and bankruptcy) occurred in that year that made me want to hide inside (thankfully, Daughter Dearest took me in) and never come out. And that’s exactly what I did. That’s all I’m gonna say about it for now.

A Wakeup Call

More recently, I had bloodwork done a couple of weeks ago, something I do every year now. I was excited to see my test results since transitioning to a whole-food, plant-based (aka vegan) diet a couple of months back.

The results were what I can only describe as magnificent! HDL (the good cholesterol)…
