The last couple of years have been very stressful for me. I lost my sister unexpectedly in 2021, and I ended up in the hospital needing surgery in early 2024. There have been many other challenges, and as a result, I ended up with a lot of anxiety.

The anxiety showed up with sleep and digestive issues. Some days, I just wanted to hide under the covers and not participate in life. But I love my life.

I have some good friends who care about me and make a difference in my life. As a result, I wanted to get rid of the stress and be my happy old self. To that end, I sought some techniques to relieve stress.

The majority of us lead stressful, chaotic lives. We seem busy 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and never have enough time to complete our tasks.

Every day feels like a whirlwind, whether it’s the boss wanting overtime, children requiring constant attention, or a spouse needing attention.

You love your family and need your career, but you might neglect yourself in the meantime. Don’t let this happen. Set aside time each day to make yourself a priority.
