‘You have to create your Book Launch Club,’ my publisher Tash texted me as we were preparing the details for the launch of my upcoming memoir.
A Book Launch Club? I thought to myself, frowning.
I had first heard about them a few months before when I was doing my research for self-publishing. Many authors swear by it, but I had never created my own, even though I have published two books.
‘Do I really need one?’ I replied with hesitation.
‘It’s up to you, but it gives your book more chances of doing well.’
