The title of this piece is a direct quotation from somebody I ran into yesterday at my Buddhist fellowship. This is how he greeted me when we saw each other.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear what he had to say. As I reflected upon his words, I came to realize that he was right: I have a great life!

Yes, I can see how this is part of a great life: seeing live theater over the years in New York and San Francisco. I enjoy living in a city where we have an abundance of culture.

Access to public transportation is not only excellent here, but since I happily don’t own a car, it’s an excellent way for me to get around.

Knowing artists is an enhancement to my life. I love art and the ability to move around freely and widely in my metropolitan area.
