“X is the next big thing.”

“YouTubers are now making more money on X.”

“It’s becoming the all-in-one platform of the world.”

“Teenagers are making 6-figures a year from their laptop.

The new Twitter (X) sounded promising…

As a digital explorer, I decided to venture into unchartered territory. I packed my survival cyber-kit: an anti-troll spray, an immunity vest against the bros, and lots of coffee. I knew it would be a long, steep hill, but I was ready to give it a go.

I’m a very principled woman, so I put my cards on the table and told Medium I was having an affair. I announced openly and publicly that I felt neglected and had started flirting with the neighbor.

Most affairs end in scandal, tears, and broken hearts, but Medium appreciated my honesty and paid me 145US$ for being straightforward. People here love a gossip.

We have been in a casual, no-strings-attached relationship ever since.
