I’m not the type of person who sees the world in black and white. The world to me is full of greys. For every sin, there are degrees of sin and variables that contribute to the motivation for committing an act so atrocious that death as a form of punishment would even be considered.

Corporal punishment, as in physical punishment that includes spanking, flogging, and even death, is nothing new. When my family and I visited the British Virgin Islands on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Caribbean, we were told about the very old-school laws there.
