A Rant on the Absurdities of Life
Life’s a roller-coaster, full of ups and downs, twists and turns, and we’re all just along for the ride. So why not just laugh through all of life’s quirks?
Let’s start with one of the greatest puzzles- Why does everyone always ask, “how are you?” when they don’t even care? (Well, duh! what do you expect me to say? “I’m fine. How are you?”).
I mean, seriously, if you really cared that much, you’d be asking me for a drink or something (to drown out the sorrows, you know), not just asking a fucking question you don’t even give a shit about.
Classic traffic. It’s like the whole cosmos conspiring against you to make you late for everything. (But I gotta admit, this surely brings out the inner musician inside me)
Another classic on the list’s Bed hair. You know that feeling when you wake up (really late) and your hair looks like a bird’s nest? (Bald guys have it better). It’s like nature’s saying,” Ha! you thought you could topple me? Think again!”
From bad hair to the never-ending search for lost socks, these quirks surely drive us crazy, but they also make life more interesting.
