Let’s Talk A Bit About Mukbang And How It Helps Me With Weight Loss

Watching people wolf down loads of food has helped me in unexpected ways.

Trigger warning: This is all about food, so if you have struggled with eating disorders or issues with food and weight, this article may be triggering.

How is it possible to sit there and eat 10,000 calories in a sitting and remain thin simultaneously? Or, even more baffling, how is it possible to watch someone wolf down loads of fatty, sugary, and starchy foods and get a rise out of it?

You would think that people would have something better to do than to wolf down all that high-fat or sugary foods, but even more so, you would think that those who like to watch people stuffing their faces would have better things to do too!

If you want to call it that, there is a name for this eating activity. It is called mukbang!
