I can’t stop marveling at the nonsense of the Trump cult
Well. I told myself that this time around, I wouldn’t waste my life worrying about what members of the trump cult think.
Not that I care about their opinions — I don’t. I just can’t understand how and why they make the decisions they do, and also I cannot seem to let it go. It’s like watching the dumbest, most horrific car accident in history.
I am learning that most trump voters voted out of a sense of revenge, which I understand. It’s a simple concept, one that I mull over frequently, these days.
But when you get into the specifics of of that revenge plot, it all falls apart. Many people says they voted for him because they are still furious over the lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic. So they voted for trump as revenge.
But who was president during the vast majority of the lockdowns?
trump.
It’s maddening, and I can’t stop thinking about it. For one thing, it’s dismaying to see so many millions of adults incapable of the most basic reasoning.
Many of them say they voted trump because they’re tired of the government stealing and wasting their money.
