Are You Okay, GOP? Need Some Mental Health Counseling?
Mark Robinson is Not Just Hateful But Mentally Ill… and So Is The GOP
The self-styled “Black Nazi” who loved trans porn but bashed trans people… just another day for a mentally ill political party

You have certainly heard about the shocking reporting from CNN on Mark Robinson, Republican candidate for NC governor.
It has spurred a lot of shock, anger, and outrage… at least on Earth One. A lot of crickets chirping on Earth Two.
I want to take a different tack to the story, though. I want to talk about mental illness… mentally ill candidates, mentally ill voters… a political party of mental illness.
I don’t mean that pejoratively. Well, maybe a little pejoratively, but mostly with concern for the long-term well-being of all MAGA Republicans.
I think we need to stop just discussing this with political analysts and campaign strategists and start bringing psychiatrists and mental health professionals into the discussion.
In case you did miss it, a summary…
Apparently, Mark Robinson was unaware that 1) the internet is forever and 2) using your real name and an email address traceable to you in creating profiles on porn sites is pretty darn dumb.
In one online post, he called himself a “Black Nazi.” I don’t even know what that means, honestly. That is like calling yourself a “Muslim Islamaphobe” or being a Swiftie who clicks “like” on Trump’s post “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT.”
Robinson said he loves “trans on lady porn.” That is fine, except when you are bashing trans people as a politician.
He fondly recalled the tale of when he was 14 years old and peeped on naked girls in the gym shower. Not necessarily unusual (let’s be honest). However, this is a problem when you are the guy who slurs trans women by saying the real reason a guy “decides” to “become a woman” is to “perv” on women in restrooms.
How often do I have to repeat the phrase “confession and projection?”
