Men Are Possessed By The Devil And Women Are Just Mannerless.

So in my country, a male celebrity married another wife.
Polygamy isn’t illegal in my country and women are disposable so for all the shocks and pearl-clutching, this male celebrity is well within his rights. Except he identifies as Christian and you know, Christians do not commit sin.
This male Christian celebrity used to be very much beloved but now, he is everyone’s punch bag for hate:

Did you see that video he released where he was having a morning devotion with his second wife? The audacity!
That man is tied up (black magic/juju) in a bottle somewhere.
He is definitely under the spiritual control of that woman.
She is pulling his strings in the spiritual world.
Another thing you must know about my country is that almost everything (bad) that happens, is a spiritual problem. So, none of these statements have anyone looking at the speakers as though they have lost their minds. The speakers are looked at as though they have dropped huge nuggets of wisdom.
There is a pattern to this.
As a growing child, every man misbehaving — infidelity, domestic abuse, neglect, was under the evil control of his affair partner or under the control of the devil in the spiritual realm.
Forgive him. The woman is implored:

They will say in my language.
The loose translation is that: his eyes are not clear.
Are you sure he is not being manipulated? What you are saying is not normal human behaviour. Are you sure he is not being manipulated somewhere? These are the actions of a man that is caged somewhere. Are you sure he is not being manipulated?
Just as people asked my mother that question, with my abuser, I was asked the same question.
Thing is — I call bullshit.
We have children who should be diagnosed with dyslexia in this country but they are severely punished and abused by their teachers because OBVIOUSLY, they are just lazy and not smart. They need to work harder.
There are children who are picky eaters in this country but they must be forced to finish their plates because they are just spoilt children. There are women who are severely abused by their partners and the whole neighbourhood is aware but OBVIOUSLY, she is mannerless.

When it is a man, oh — he is being manipulated in the spiritual realm. Give me a break.
My country is not a woman’s haven. We are very strong on Ph.D. — Pull Her Down.
How dare that woman be rich? Seek independence? Be childfree? Leave an abusive partner?
Oh, she is mannerless.
How can that man be abusive to his partner? Cheat on her? Disgrace her everywhere?
Well, the other woman has given him something/spell (black magic/juju).
And that becomes very widely accepted and a reason to forgive him for all his crimes against humanity.
I have never understood this disparity and I do not think I ever will.
When my friend was struggling with infertility, her in-laws ganged up on her because — her marine spirit husband must be the reason.
Yeah, she was rebellious as a teenager. It must be the marine kingdom.
The only instance where women are allowed to be possessed by the devil is when it is the other OBVIOUS contributing factor to things like HER infertility or when she is living an independent life.
For a continent where women are so disposable, the barrier to their living is so high. Shouldn’t the reasons for this be the focus of disparity so something tangible can actually be done about it?
