Nightshift Two

Poem by My Mother-in-Law

I might also try to be so clever

As to write of a night endeavor

Thinking of words to rhyme with “wee”

Kept coming back to the word “pee”

(Not that they don’t do that too, Be it

twelve, five, three, or two)

This is not so deep and thoughtful

But if perchance there be a lull

I know Angels, a watch will keep

And Mom should try to get some sleep!
