Yeah, I remember those days… when dinosaurs roamed the toy stores instead of video games…
People are more connected but more alone than ever before.
People have more contact with more people yet are sitting alone in a room while having those “contacts.”
People have thousands of “friends” and “followers” online but don’t know their next-door neighbor’s name.
People have all the entertainment they could ever desire just one click away and yet are bored.
People have all the knowledge accumulated by all of humanity available one click away yet they seem to be getting stupider and stupider.
Please don’t take that personally. I think I have been getting stupider and stupider myself, but I am trying to reverse that. I’ve been trying to “get back to where I once belonged.”
As I was thinking about that, memories came bubbling up for me of the “before-time”… before all this technology.
