Well. That was a shitshow.

On your left, ladies and gentlemen, is America’s greatest liar and con man, carnival barker extraordinaire, convicted felon, and adjudicated rapist, Donald Trump.

On your right, the old guy.

This should have been easy.

Instead, CNN’s debate format favored the serial liar, who was able to pack multiple lies into two or one-minute periods while the old guy stared, his mouth agape like he was a new fly-catching product by Raid, those makers of insect repellent who may need to be recruited into the oval office in 2025 to wipe out an orange locust infestation.

So, now what?

The obvious move here is for Jill Biden to talk some sense into her husband. Biden has been a politician all his life, though. Politicians are as stubborn as they come, and he’s been at it for nearly a hundred years.

Short of threatening to change his adult diapers live on a TikTok stream, she probably won’t have much luck convincing him to step aside.
