Poltergeists in the House
A guy on Twitter told me about his poltergeist!
I write for spiritual magazines and a few years ago, I was looking for new story ideas, asking folk on Twitter for inspiration. This guy called John offered to tell me about his poltergeist.
Now, you might think he was joking, but he was dead serious (excuse the pun). He even produced some photos of some of the damage caused by his spectral visitor.
A magazine asked me to follow up his story, but none of his family were prepared to be photographed for fear of looking silly, so the whole thing fell through.
John’s poltergeist
Long story short, John said, “We became aware of spirit presence when my son and his wife, living downstairs, had a violently shaking bed. Writing appeared on the wall.”
Obviously, it was scary and they couldn’t sleep in a violently shaking bed, so the couple moved out. But John seemed quite chilled about the whole experience. He liked to investigate paranormal phenomena.
John continued: “The next day, there was more writing and violent banging. The name ‘Sam’ appeared on the wall. A tennis ball exploded out of a wall, with ‘Leave Sam’ painted on it.
