I love it when there is singing in languages other than English! However, this might be the only song in this list with French parts.
79: Don’t Say A Word (Acoustic) by Sonata Arctica
“Don’t say a word” is part of the so-called “Caleb Saga” — a series of songs that are chained together in their content. In other words, a story.
The saga tells of a man from a broken home and the woman he stalks. The whole thing comes to a rather tragic end in the final song, “Juliet”.
78: I’m Blue (Gothic Metal Cover) by Melodicka Bros
I still know the original from my youth! This version, however, was quite hard to get used to. But somehow, I guess I still managed to listen to the gothic “I’m Blue” more than once. 😅
77: Alumina by Nightmare
It’s been ages since I’ve seen the anime Death Note! But it was only earlier this year that I accidentally came across the song again thanks to Spotify. Definitely one of those tracks that I can listen to on repeat!
76: I Want To Hold Your Hand (Remastered, 2015) by The Beatles
Beatles in the year 2022? Of course! To think I wasn’t even born when they were at their best…. But my husband and I have been listening to a lot of their music over the past year. We like oldies now and then! 🥰
75: Alone In Heaven (Acoustic) by Sonata Arctica
The lyrics from this song have often made me think. One of the lines says, “Can this be heaven if my best friends burn in hell?”. — And, can it?

Great video and great talent that does Linkin Park justice I think. Especially the violin fits sooo well!
73: Daughter Of The Sea by Federica Putti
I never really played World of Warcraft intensively. But the song is beautiful.
Although, of course, that hardly compares to Federica’s talent!
72: High School Musical Medley by Anthem Lights ft. Alex G.
My husband laughs about it sometimes, but I like High School Musical and think the medley is sooo totally awesome! ♥
71: The Rest Of The Sun Belongs To Me by Sonata Arctica
I must say, I didn’t recognize the original behind this acoustic version! It was already included on the album Winterheart’s Guild in 2003 and was a lot more fast-paced.
