The Cult Voted Their Abusive Daddy Into Office

Seriously. That’s what they’re saying. Now if you’re thinking, “WTF?” That’s because you didn’t grow up in a conservative household.
Why would anyone want their “daddy” in the White House? Especially when daddy is an (allegedly) physically and verbally abusive, tantrum-throwing, drug-addled (allegedly), sex attacker?
Because that’s what’s familiar, and comfortable, to a significant portion of this country.
See, what MAGA is doing is projecting their idea of proper family living onto the entire country. In conservative homes, Daddy is king. What Daddy says, goes. Daddy is not to be contradicted or spoken back to. Doesn’t matter if Daddy has a taste for drink, or a drug habit, or likes to dole out physical, emotional and/or mental abuse — that just means you need to act better so you don’t get smacked. And if you don’t like Daddy’s controlling rules — even when they don’t make a lick of sense — well, there’s the door and you can just get the eff out and not come back until you comply like everyone else.
