The Fake Weather Excuse for the Trump Indoor Coronation

Er, excuse me, I mean inauguration… though sure looked and felt like a coronation

I took a look this morning at the coverage of the inauguration. I noticed what a nice and sunny day it was.

I noticed the dignitaries (the elites and the oligarchs) filing into the Capitol for the coronation, er inauguration, were dressed in fine coats and such, but they did not appear to be shivering.

In some cases, the coats looked rather thin and skimpy, as rich folk’s coats often are (they have to be made of expensive material, not practical Antarctica gear).

The ladies even had the usual bare calves showing and lovely (not at all warm) high heels.

None of them seemed to be in grave danger of imminent frostbite. None of them were even grimacing. They all looked very comfortable walking into the building.

Hmmm.

I checked the Washington DC weather. Temperature 27 degrees Fahrenheit, and winds at a negligible 11 miles per hour, so no significant wind chill.

Hmmm.

At President Obama’s inauguration in 2009, the temperature was 28 degrees Fahrenheit. The winds were gusting up to 23 miles per hour, which would have…
