The Five Habits for Living Your Best Life

Looking at my habits — the positive ones as well as the negative ones felt vital now that we are in a new year.

I wanted to find out if my habits helped me to live the life of my dreams or if they were working against me.

There are some habits I should review. Usually, in the morning, I have a ritual with my coffee. I even balance my checkbook, which is really an Excel file, and check my email and Facebook to find friends with a birthday so I may give them best wishes.

I have appointments some days and not much on my to-do list other days, which is both a benefit and a drawback of retired life.

I created a daily schedule as I have a few goals this year, including improving my physical condition and spending more time writing, which is a new interest of mine. Later in the year, I will let you know how it turns out.

Why Do Habits Have Benefits?

With little daily adjustments, developing habits and routines can influence our lives.

These build up over time, and before you realize it, you are leading a happier and healthier existence.
