The Four-Hour Workday and How to Achieve It
The most desired thing by most people is spending less time working and more time having a break. This is a quite difficult thing to achieve, as most of the time you don’t make enough money to work half as much in your full-time job to maintain such a lifestyle. For me, that all changed When I saw a video pop up on my recommendations on YouTube titled
“How to achieve a four-hour workday”,
I immediately grabbed my notebook and tried to figure out ways of achieving that, without actually watching that video, and I was amazed to discover a brand new way to be 10x more productive, but first, let’s point out the usual way people achieve the 4-hour workday.
The “time-consuming” way
This takes a lot of time to achieve, and it is basically by slowly building passive income streams such as investing and making small-scale businesses that have a similar type to dropshipping. This usually takes up to 10–15 years to fully achieve working more so you can work less afterward.
But you don’t need to do any of these to achieve the four-hour “workday”, as you can use a new, revolutionary strategy that I have just discovered and you also might have been using it without even noticing. So, let me introduce you to the hyperfocus technique.
The hyperfocus technique
The hyperfocus technique is the intense form of concentration on a certain action, forcing your brain to ignore everything else and put all your brainpower towards completing that certain task. So, you are focusing so much on one action, that you are putting your brain in lockdown mode and preventing everything else from entering.
This technique is usually used subconsciously by virtually everybody when they are close to a deadline and need to work extremely hard to fulfill it, so they put in 10x the amount of work they usually do to be able to complete it and, in turn, only focus on the given deadline.
If you manage to utilize that technique correctly, you can carry out work as much as 10 times more efficiently than you used to. This means that you can carry out the same amount of work in a smaller amount of time, and use the rest of your time doing whatever you want, such as being a content creator, reading a book, or even just taking a nap.
Though, for jobs (such as teaching) that require your full attention at all times when you do your job, while you can not use the hyperfocus technique during your full-time job, you can at least use it in your spare time and use your time more efficiently then.
All in All, the 4-hour workday is something craved by most human beings, but by utilizing the hyperfocus technique, you can essentially cut the time you are working in half.
