Sure 0 kids = POS childless cat lady, but what’s a perfect 10?
Once upon a super-fun time at a family gathering, a super-nice, barely closeted Christian Nationalist who was related to me by marriage opined that I was a selfish pig for having only one child. The fact that he had more just made him a better, and unselfish and godly person. And that was just a self-evident truth.
The rest of the family get together proceeded swimmingly after that. Although, truth be told, having one’s head filled with murderous rage does make the time fly by.
I’ve thought about his comment occasionally over the years and wondered why he stopped at child number x as he did. If 1 = selfish pig parent, and his number of children = better than that, why stop? More is better so it’s stunningly logical that:
Zero = horrible person.
One = selfish pig.
Two = who TF knows.
His number = better than my intensely personal and well-considered decision.
Ten = perfect, who knows?
Twenty = god-like status.
Thirty = nirvana.
And so forth.
