The Key to Be Yourself Is To Get Busy Working
When you try to fit in, everything feels bad
Being yourself isn’t always easy.
You’ve to stand up for yourself — saying goodbyes to the toxic people, habits, and weak mindset.
On top of that, you’ve to embrace the pain that nobody gives a sh*t about you.
Don’t worry, I’ve covered for you.
Step 1: Clear Your Head
For a month, I was distracted.
- I put aside my work
- I started eating junk
- Overall, I relied on cheap dopamine
I was all fucked up, doubting, and didn’t know what to do.
Then I stepped back and had a little self-talk — If I want to be my true self, I need to get my shit together.
I know my life shouldn’t be this way. I shouldn’t feel lonely. And they should’ve stayed with me. This isn’t what I prayed for.
However, I can’t change it. So, it’s time to change myself and clear my head from the demons that stop me.
Step 2: Start working
I don’t know about your dreams.
Your passion.
But I do know you’re on a mission to become your true self.
And it only happens when you start working on the things that scare you — getting up early, putting in the deep work, and getting better every day. If you can do that, you’re setting yourself up for success.
As Kobe Bryant said:
“The best way to prove your value is to work. It is to learn. It is to absorb and be a sponge. But you always want to outwork your potential. As hard as you believe you can work, you can work harder than that.”
